More games to play on my PS3 is never a bad thing.
Runners up: Facebook integration, Clock fix.

Best Leaderboard Implementation: Shatter
Constantly letting me know who I have to beat next.
Runners up: ZEN Pinball, Pinball Heroes (PSP)

Best Game To Play After Having A Bad Day: Flower
Easy, relaxing a great game to play if you need to calm down.
Runners up: Noby Noby Boy, Peggle

Easiest Way To Lose Hours At A Time: Peggle
I live to hear Ode To Joy.
Runners up: Trine, ZEN Pinball

Best Game If You Love Easy Trophies: .detuned
Pretty much all the game is good for .
Runners up: Diner Dash, Blue Toad Murder Files

Best Art Style: PixelJunk Shooter
PixelJunk games always have a stellar look to them, this one is no exception.
Runners up: Critter Crunch, Gravity Crash

Best Soundtrack: Shatter
Just listen to it for yourself, enough said. <3 Amethyst Caverns

Best Add-on: WipEout HD Fury
The new modes this adds to WipEout really make this stand out.
Runners up: LittleBigPlanet Pirates of the Caribbean, EyePet add-ons

Best Puzzle Game: Critter Crunch
More puzzles, modes, and challenges than you can shake a stick at. Did I mention it has online versus and co-op?
Runners up: Droplitz, Trash Panic

Best Sports Game: 3 on 3 NHL Arcade
Take NFL Blitz and mix in some NHL 95. A winning combination.
Runners up: Hustle Kings, Let’s Golf (minis)

Best Platformer: Braid
Even if we are a year late here on PS3, still one of my all time favorites.
Runners up: Kahoots (minis), Trine

Best Shooter: Battlefield 1943
Battlefield games are a blast. The random moments you can only get in battlefield make this the cream of the crop.
Runners up: Call of Duty Classic, Cell Factor: Psychokinetic Wars

Best PSN Application: PSP Comic Viewer

Everything from the PS3 versions plus more. Tower Defense at its finest.

The perfect game if you want to play for just a few minutes, but fun enough to play for a few hours.
Runners up: Bubble Trubble, Echoes

Best PS3 Game: Shatter
My favorite game from all of 2009. A classic genre remade for this generation.
