Review: Uno

Developer: Gameloft
Release Date: September 30, 2009
Price: $9.99
Demo: No
Players: 1-4 (local), 1-6 (online)

What I liked:

  • It is Uno (One of my favorite card games)
  • The gameplay options (Everyone has different house-rules for Uno)
  • The unlocks (Different cards and backgrounds)
  • Auto-selecting Wild colors (It will default to the color you have the most cards of in your hand)

What I disliked:

  • Limited customization of “avatars” (There aren’t many different options)
  • 7-0 gameplay (Only fun with friends locally)
  • Local multiplayer (Only fun when playing 7-0 Uno; otherwise seeing your opponents hand is no fun)
  • Not being able to cancel out of placing certain cards

This game is what you expect it to be, Uno. If you don’t own the Xbox 360 version, there is no reason to pass this up. Just make sure if you are playing local multiplayer to make sure no one cheats.
