Anyone logging online to play some Calling All Cars, does anyone still do that, will be greeted with a message stating the following:
On January 14, 2010 the servers for Calling All Cars will be taken off-line. We would like to thank ya for yar support.
To my knowledge this is the first PSN game to have its servers taken offline. It makes sense though, I don’t think anyone has logged on to play this game in a long time. Well at least we can still play it offline, it is a blast.
Thanks DJ Crimson for the tip.

Castle Crashers (PS3 8/31)
Alien Breed: Impact (PS3 9/01)
I’ve never played it.
It seems this is one of those negatives tied around dedicated servers.
Is this game also on XBOX Live? I wouldn’t know as I’m a PC gamer.
@ Malik Jabir
No this title is a PlayStation exclusive!
Made by the guys from Twisted Metal en God of War.
My PSN is STARCHILD789
ADD me if you have the game and want to play and get your moneys worth online. If they are being taken down then the least we can do is play a bunch of fun matches! ADD me and throw CALLING ALL CARS in the subject header!
Malik Jabir: It’s made by the God Of War guy so, no
In this case, it would certainly help if the players could host their own games, yes.
Haze multplayer was the first one that had their servers killed
Robert, Haze is still online (great!) and on store shelves, don’t be stupid!
<q cite="Haze multplayer was the first one that should have had their servers killed”>
There, fixed.
Anyone who’s interested in this game, check out the new dedicated CAC forum which I created just today: http://www.arctic-charge.com/cac/. I’d hate to see this shutdown happen, Calling All Cars is such a great multiplayer game. Hope to see some players at the forums!
