Another day, another iPhone app port

Gameloft recently revealed that it’s bringing one of its iPhone apps to the PSPgo. N.O.V.A., which stands for Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, is an FPS based in outerspace. The basis is that artificial satellites (near-orbitals) were constructed to sustain life. The near-orbitals banded together to form N.O.V.A., but oh teh noes! A previously MIA marine ship has suddenly reappeared and is headed straight for the near-orbitals! That’s where you come in, retired marine hero Kal Wardin. Suit up and get ready to fight through 13 levels set in 5 different environments. You may be a bit rusty at first, but you’ll soon feel as comfortable as ever when shooting down enemies with 6 different weapons. The full 3D rendered environments you’ll be trekking through are enhanced by highly detailed graphics. Oh, and there are 2 control schemes.

A couple of screens to whet your appetite:

The iPhone version seems to have an impressive amount of online multiplayer compatibility; I wonder if the PSP version will feature any.
