Nathan Vella over a Capy has let us know that Critter Crunch will be on sale today for our European friends. Priced at a cheap €2.99, there is no reason to pass this up.

Critter Crunch Patch Coming Tomorrow

We love Critter Crunch, and apparently the devs do too. Whenever someone at Sony pushes a magic button tomorrow there will be a patch ready for you crunch-away at. Here are the details from Capy:

ADDITIONS!
- XMB Audio support
- language select available for all!
- Hey losers! You get a little XP even if you lose in multiplayer

TWEAKS!
- Player feedback regarding DIFFICULT LEVELS has been taken to heart. Tough levels got a little less insane!
- Coop networking tweaks to decrease pesky lag
- Multiplayer “Disconnects” are now awarded more accurately
- Catching a jewel while feeding glorious vomit to your son will no longer interrupt you
- Your rank will now be retrieved more reliably when playing Adventure

NASTY BUG FIXES
- No more annoying audio glitch
- No more Wins/Losses upload issues when the server is in ‘maintenance’ mode**
- Player score for Challenge levels now correctly handled in ALL cases
- “Barf Success” icon now shows up correctly in ALL cases
- “King of the Jungle” Trophy now successfully unlocks correctly even with a score of 0

Sounds good to me. Hopefully all the new folks that bought the game last week due to the sale will enjoy these tweaks

Critter Crunch Code Giveaway!

The awesome guys at Capybara Games have given us 4 codes to giveaway for Critter Crunch. This challenge won’t be an easy one, as you have to answer one of four trivia questions to get the code. I will post the questions once the Demo goes live on the North American store. It may just help you answer them

In the mean time read our review for Critter Crunch and hang out.

Rules:

The first person to answer the question gets the code.
1 code per person.
2 questions will go up as soon as the Demo is on the store, I will also post a notice on twitter.

Critter Crunch Demo Next Week

Cromulent_Word, a dev at Capybara, just posted on NeoGAF that after a slight delay there will be a demo for Critter Crunch next week on US PSN. There is still no release date for the European version though. If you read our review you would see that you don’t need this demo, but hopefully this will spur more sales.
