Update: Looks like they are sold out at the moment.

Sure Section 8 went on sale today on the US store for $9.99, but Amazon thought they could do better. So if you buy the game from Amazon Marketplace, it will only cost you a 5-spot. No clue when the sale ends, but if you were thinking about getting the game, I would do so from Amazon.

Ubisoft seems to be in the giving mood. If you preorder Scott Pilgrim Vs. On Sale This Week – May 25th Edition

The PSN Store will be updating in a few hours and we already know a few items that will be on sale. First up is Wakeboarding HD. We were a bit down on this title when we reviewed it because of its high price ($14.99). Well today you can purchase it at a much easier to shallow $7.49.

Next up we have Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. This game will also be 50% off in preparation for the 2010 World Cup. What do soccer and Rocker-Powered Battle-Cars have in common? A soccer mini game, duh. I have heard great things about this game, and I think it is hard to pass it up for $4.99.

Well that is what we know so far. If I see anything else I will add it.

There was a fairly sizable community last time I checked. I might have to drop in on a few games this weekend to play with some of the newbies

Topatoi Price Drop

Starting today on the EU PSN store topatoi will be receiving a permanent price cut.

Starting October 29th, Boolat’s puzzle-oriented PlayStation 3/PSN platformer Topatoi will be available for 7.99 Euros. It is a permanent price drop, not just “weekend sale” or something. Since the game is released in the US for $9.99, we felt it’s unfair to keep the old price tag in other regions.

Topatoi is a game that sticks to old school traditions of the puzzler platformers (like, say, Bubba ‘N Stix or The Lost Vikings), including emphasis on the original concepts and unique immersive gameplay. In short, the core of Topatoi’s gameplay is based on the fact that player controls a small explorer vehicle that works like a spinning top. So the spin needs to be controlled carefully, as it affects the device’s movement and behaviour.

SARPBC On Sale This Thursday

For two weeks starting this Thursday, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars will be on sale for $4.99. Slashing the price in half should be a good way to get people interested in this year old title. Seeing how well the Psyonix have expanded the title since launch, now seems as good a time as ever to strap in and go for a ride. If you are unsure, you could always try the demo that is on the PSN store!

Last week PSN games went up for sale on Amazon.com and it looks like some games have gone on sale. Currently Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty and the Pain: Sore Spots Add-on have been discounted. Remember that these are US versions if you are buying them from overseas.

Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty($9.99 was $14.99)
PAIN: Sore Spots ($0.99 was $5.99)
