Here's one of the videos I think you were referring to, you definitely need to get hints from these otherwise it will take for-ever to finish. I found some good walk-thru's on YouTube though (just type in Crimson Room Reverse), and then after I was able to make progress, I actually got more and more into it. In the end, and overall I enjoyed it, with the caveat of having the help from the walk-thru video. Overall I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5.0 Yeah this game was so difficult.
